DHAKA: Bollywood actress Genelia D’Souza gifted her husband Riteish Deshmukh – also an actor – a Tesla Model X SUV on his 40th birthday, reports NDTV. 

Riteish took to social media and tweeted a picture of him with his priced birthday gift.

This is the second Tesla Model X bought by a famous Indian personality. 

All in all, it was a well-spent birthday for Riteish, who returned Genelia's favour with these words: "I hope I am doing exactly the same thing I did in my past life to have deserved you. Because I definitely want you in my next."

Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza have co-starred in films such as Tujhe Meri Kasam, Masti and Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya. Riteish married Genelia in traditional Maharastrian style followed by a church wedding in February 2012. They are parents to three-year-old Riaan and one-year-old Rahyl.

The Tesla Model X is the only SUV that is produced by the electric car brand. It is also among the fastest SUVs in the world. The electric vehicle is powered by twin motors, one powering the front axle and the other powering the rear axle. It can go from rest to 100 Kph in just 4.8 seconds, even in the base-spec.
