DHAKA: Celebrated filmmaker Zakir Hossain Raju-directed film ‘Bhalo Theko’ is all set to release on February 9, on the occasion of Valentines Day.
The film received censor board clearance on January 13, said producer Zahid Hasan Abhi.
“Censor Board has watched the film and given verbal consent to screen it. But it will take a few days to receive the release paper. Now we’re taking preparation to release Bhalo Theko”, said Abhi, proprietor of The Abhi Kathachitro.
Bangladesh Censor Board Secretary Munshi Jalal Uddin told Banglanews that there is no obstruction to release Bhalo Theko.
Meanwhile, a wedding song of the film titled ‘Biye’ released on YouTube on Monday (January 15).
The film features Arifin Shuvoo and Tanha Tasnia.
Kazi Hayat, Amzad Hossain, Rebecca and MA Shahid are among the other casts while actor Asif Imrose is in a special appearance.
“The film will spread the story of love and humanity”, said director Raju.
Shafiq Tuhin from Bangladesh and Savvy from Kolkata have directed the music.
Apart from Bangladesh, Bhalo Theko was also shot in Nepal.
