DHAKA: Dec 8 marked singer Oyshee Fatima Tuz Zahra’s birthday. But she couldn’t make it somewhat extravagant with packed celebrations this time! She was busy performing at a show of Bangladesh Navy in the port city.
“I have made the honorable President (Abdul Hamid) listen my songs at the Navy program in Chattogram on my birthday. For me, it’s a birthday gift indeed,” thus she opened-up her version while talking to banglanews Thursday (Dec 13).
“Returning home, I joined a low-key party with my friends at SevenHill Restaurant,” she added.
However, Oyshee is now awaiting her flight to Australia on Dec 18, to perform at a concert in Sydney. She also shared a video announcement on her Facebook page in this regard.
The concert is scheduled to hold at Belmore Bulldogs Stadium, marking Bangladesh’s Victory Day.
Souls, Warfaze, Rony, Jamil and RoughSun are also slated for the Dec 22 concert, arranged by Greenfield Entertainment.
The program includes comedy show, DJ performance and food festival as well.
Oyshee said she will fly back on Dec 24.
The singer earlier enthralled audience in Oman, Qatar, and India too.
As the year 2018 is near to its end, she also shared about her latest works.
Some of them are—‘Amar Ekta Pakhi’ from G Series, ‘Khachar Vetor Ochin Pakhi’ from CMV, ‘Mon Utola’, title track of film ‘Maya the Lost Mother’ directed by Masud Pathik, a jingle titled ‘Shanti Jitle Jite Desh’ on Emon Chowdhury’s tune and composition, a patriotic number tuned by Fahmida Nabi and a short film number on the lyric of Surjeet Poddar.
