DHAKA: Veteran actor ATM Shamsuzzaman has been kept on life support at Asgar Ali Hospital in Gendaria of the capital city on Tuesday (April 30).

The actor's younger brother Sheikh Russesl Krira Chakra Director Saleh Jaman Selim confirmed the matter to Banglanews, in the evening.

ATM Shamsuzzaman underwent a gallbladder surgery Saturday (April 27) night.

He was then moved to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

"He is suffering from breathing difficulties," Selim said.

He has been kept on life support due to deterioration of his condition, added Selim.
