DHAKA: Prarthona Fardin Dighi, who earned recognition as a child artist, has been in a hiatus from acting for long.
She sat for SSC examinations in English version, from Stamford School & College in Dhaka this year.
Dighi secured 'A-' with overall CGPA 3.61, her father Subrata Barua told Banglanews as the results of SSC and equivalent examinations published Monday (May 6).
"Her result of Mathematics has been low to some extent, she did well in other subjects though," he said.
"We are happy over the results," added Dighi's father.
However, Dighi stepped into her acting career through appearing in an advertisement of a mobile operator company back in her primary school days.
'Dadima', 'Chachhu', 'Baba Amar Baba' and 'Ek Takar Bou' are a few of the popular films Dighi starred in.
She bagged the National Film Award in best child artist category in 2006.
She is the lone daughter to actor couple Subrata Barua and late Doyel.
