DHAKA: Dhallywood actress Eamin Haque Bobby has been infected with dengue amid outbreak of the mosquito-borne viral fever countrywide.
Physicians at Square Hospital here diagnosed her with dengue Tuesday (August 6) night. She was advised to stay at home.
"Bobby was reported with 3,45,000 platelets in blood. Doctors said she doesn't need hospitalization if the number remains stable or increases. But if the number falls, she would be hospitalized," Iftekhar Chowdhury, film director and the actress's close aide told Banglanews Wednesday (August 7).
Next step will be taken upon advice from doctors, he added.
Eamin Haque Bobby debuted in Dhallywood through Iftekhar Chowdhury's 2010 film "Khoj-The Search".
She appeared in 'Dehorokkhi', 'Full & Final', 'Inchi Inchi Prem', 'Swapno Chhoya', 'I Don’t Care', 'Bijli' and 'Nolok'.
'Beporowa' pairing up Bobby and Roshan is set to hit theatres on upcoming Eid-Ul-Azha.
