DHAKA: Recording label Soundtek is all set to release an unreleased song of legendary rock musician Ayub Bachchu nearly one and half decades after its making.

The song titled 'Bhab Sutra', slated for the same label's 2004 mix album 'Fisfasfis' of AB, Asif and Pantha Kanai, was dropped before finalization.

Penned by poet-lyricist-actor Marzuk Russell, 'Bhab Sutra' was tuned, composed and voiced by LRB frontman Ayub Bachchu who passed away October 18 last year.

The song has been given edit and re-mastered by Anisuzzman Anis.

Soundtek proprietor Sultan Mahmood Babul is hopeful that 'Bhab Sutra' will be cordially accepted by AB's fans.

"In the time of album culture, we would preserve many songs to release later. Similarly, this song had not been released then, supposed to release though," he told Banglanews. 

However, a lyrical video of 'Bhab Sutra' will release on the YouTube channel of Soundtek Friday (August 16).
