BTV to broadcast in India from Monday

DHAKA: Bangladesh Television (BTV) is set to broadcast its programmes across India from Monday (September 2). Information Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud is expected to inaugurate the broadcast program.

According to the press note of the Bangladesh government, BTV will be broadcasting through DD Free Dish, the DTH platform of India's state television.

The inauguration ceremony will be held at BTV Auditorium in Rampura in the capital on Monday.

Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud, State Minister Md. Murad Hasan and India's High Commissioner to Bangladesh Riva Ganguly Das will be the special guests at the event, with Information Secretary Abdul Malek in the chair.

The program will be broadcast live on Bangladesh Television.
