The first poetry collection of a powerful Iranian poet based in Luxemburg Sanaz Davoodzadehfar has been published by Ykiuoto and now this is available on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08H2FPTYR).
The title of the book is 'I Walk on Dead Letters' which has been translated into Arabic by poet and translator Mohammed Helmi Alrisha. This is the first collection of poetry by an Iranian female poet which has been translated into Arabic after Forough Farrokhzad's book. Most of the poems in this book were published in important Arab newspapers and magazines like Al Ahram, Al Dustour.
This collection already won two poetry prizes that include European Poetry Champion in Romania and Arab Poetry Competition - Aljawaheri in Sydney.
Sanaz began her artistic career with the theatre, worked in many places and won many prestigious awards. She is also a storyteller and a traditional singer who learnt music from Pari Maleki and Mustaba Asgari, the two great musicians of traditional music in Iran.
Sanaz began writing poetry in classical forms and her poems were published in prestigious literary journals and newspapers of Iran, e.g. Roudaki, Zane, Emeooz etc. Her poems were translated into English, French, Spanish, German, Swedish, Kurdish etc.
