Popular singer Baby Naznin was admitted to a hospital in Patterson of New Jersey in the USA on Wednesday with kidney problems.
Her younger brother Enam Sarker confirmed the matter to Banglanews.
Baby Naznin, assistant international affairs secretary of BNP, has been suffering from kidney related complexities for long. Recently she fell sick and rushed to the hospital. However, her condition is improving, said Enam.
Baby Naznin was born on 23 August in 1965 in Saidpur, Nilphamari. She sang the first movie song in 1980. The first album 'Patramita' was released in 1987 under the music direction of Maksud Jamil Mintu.
She won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer for her performance in the film Sahoshi Manush Chai (2005).
She is widely known to the Bangladeshi audience as Black Diamond.
