For the first time in her career, film actress Shobnom Bubly is going to be the presenter of a gala event like the 'Bashundhara Media Award 2021'. She is making her debut as a moderator through this event at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital this evening (Monday).

She will anchor the event jointly with another popular film actor Ferdous.

In this regard, Bubly said, “This is the first time I am appearing in front of the audience as a moderator. I was a news presenter at the beginning of my career but this time I am going to moderate a gala ceremony. This is a very challenging and different platform. I have also made some preparations for this event.”

“I look the 'Bashundhara Media Award 2021' programme in a different point of view. We are habituated to see that journalists always cover the news of any award giving ceremony. But this time, the best journalists of the country are the honoured guests and they will be given award. I am really happy to be a part of such an exceptional occasion.”

Bashundhara Group, the largest business conglomerate of the country, has organised the 'Bashundhara Media Award 2021'. This is the biggest event so far in honour of the journalists. A total of 11 investigative journalists have been nominated for the award in 5 categories by the jury board. In addition, recognising their contribution to journalism at grassroots, a total of 64 meritorious journalists from each district of the country will be honoured.
