The entry fee of the concert has been fixed at Taka 300 and the entire amount will go to the flood-hit people of the country, the organisers told a press conference at the office of Dhaka University Journalists Association (DUJA).

The concert is being arranged by the teachers and students of the university under an initiative titled "All cultural and social organisations of Dhaka University with flood-hit people," they said in the press conference.

Member secretary of the initiative Prof Robaet Ferdous said that as a public university, DU runs with the funding and taxes of the people of this country. So, it is the university's responsibility to give a hand to the flood- affected people.

Everyone related to the university as well as the people of the country will attend the concert in a bid to help the flood-hit people, he hoped.
