Dengue: Three die, 410 hospitalised in last 24 hours

Three dengue patients died and 410 more people were hospitalised with the mosquito-borne disease across the country in the last 24 hours Sunday (Dec 4).

In the 24 hours, 208 new dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka, said the DGHS release.

However, 202 dengue patients were admitted outside the capital.

According to DGHS, 841 patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals of Dhaka while 622 other patients are being treated in hospitals outside Dhaka.

Some 58,619 patients were admitted to different hospitals with dengue till today while 56,899 patients returned home after recovery since January 1.

However, this year a total 257 died from the mosquito-borne viral disease in Bangladesh till today.

However, 28,429 patients were admitted to different hospitals with dengue while 28,265 patients recovered in last year. A total of 105 died from the mosquito-borne disease during that time.
