A special campaign for administering the fourth Covid-19 vaccine dose starts across Bangladesh on Tuesday (Dec 20).
Ahmedul Kabir, director general of the Directorate General of Health Services, launched the campaign at Kurmitola general Hospital in the capital on today’s morning.
“Already, 460 people have been given the second booster dose (4th dose) trial by the instructions of the minister,” said Ahmedul Kabir.
“A second booster dose will be conducted at all permanent vaccination centers from today,” he added.
Till now, 14 crore people have been vaccinated with the first dose while more than 12 crore people with the second dose and six crore with the booster dose against Covid-19 in Bangladesh.
