Khurshid Alam to stay health DG for another 2 years 

The government has extended service of renowned surgeon Prof Dr Abul Bashar Mohammed (ABM) Khurshid Alam as Director General of Directorate General of Health Services.

The development came a day after Additional DG Prof Dr Ahmedul Kabir was made the acting DG of the Directorate General of Health Services. Prof ABM Khurshid Alam was supposed to go on retirement.

However, overturning the order, the government extended the tenure of  Prof ABM Khurshid Alam on Tuesday (Jan 10).
