Bangladesh reported Covid-19-linked 14 fresh cases in the last 24 hours till Monday (September 4) morning, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The official data showed a total of 29,477 people in the country died due to the disease since the start of the pandemic in March of 2020.
Besides, the total number of coronavirus cases in the country reached 20, 45,413.
The DGHS disclosed the update on the country’s coronavirus situation issuing a press release this afternoon.
A total of 1,258 samples were tested across the country, for a positivity rate of 1.11 percent.
A total of seven persons recovered from the illness nationwide, bringing the total number of recoveries to 4,23,542, according to the release.
Bangladesh reported its first Coronavirus case on March 8, 2020, while its first death was on March 18 that year.
