Bangladesh reported seven COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours till Friday (October 6) morning, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The official data showed a total of 29,477 people in the country died due to the disease since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
Besides, the country's total number of coronavirus cases reached 20, 45,769.
The DGHS disclosed the update on the country’s coronavirus situation issuing a press release this afternoon.
A total of 539 samples were tested across the country, for a positivity rate of 1.18 percent.
According to the release, the total number of recoveries till today reached 4, 23,577.
Bangladesh reported its first Coronavirus case on March 8, 2020, while its first death was on March 18 that year.
