Additional Director General of Health Department Ahmedul Kabir today (January 5) said Dengue vaccine may be available if permission is granted.

He disclosed the information at a meeting on year-long North City preparation and actions to combat Aedes mosquito and Aedes mosquito-borne dengue in the area under the jurisdiction of Dhaka North City Corporation at Nagar Bhaban, Gulshan-2 in the capital.

“Several private pharmaceuticals brought Dengue vaccine. If lab regularity permission is granted on March then by next three months vaccine can be available in the local market,” said Ahmedul Kabir.
