DHAKA: Health Minister Mohammad Nasim on Monday said government will provide some six thousands new cars to the doctors to work in rural areas.
The doctors will be appointed soon through BCS examination, Nasim added.
The Health Minister made the disclosure in the inauguration program of Cardiac Doctors’ Seminar on Friday noon at city’s Radisson Hotel.
Nasim also said that the female doctors will get priority in the process of getting cars. The doctors who will stay in rural areas for three years at a stretch they will get priority in the time of transfer to their favorable places.
He also urged doctors to provide free medication to the poor people at least once a week.
Professor Doctor Jahangir Kabir presided over the program where other eminent doctors and experts were also present.
