DHAKA: Some 6,000 doctors will be appointed on Thursday and they will serve people in villages across the country.

Health Minister Mohammad Nasim made the announcement in presence of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in a programme at Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital Wednesday.

Mohammad Nasim said, “The government has taken the step to reach health service to the doorstep of people all over the country.”
