SATKHIRA: A special medical camp was set up at Bhomra land port in the district on Wednesday to prevent Ebola virus epidemic.

The medical camp started medical check-up the passengers coming from India whether presence of Ebola virus. 

A six-member medical team led-by Satkhira Sadar Hospital Medicine Consultant Kazi Arif Ahmed was formed to prevent the Ebola virus epidemic.

Confirming the matter Satkhira Civil Surgeon Dr Saleh Ahmed said, “A team led-by a health inspector along with two health assistant has already started their work. If anyone found affected, then they will be given treatment under the care of Satkhira Sadar Hospital Medicine Consultant Kazi Arif’s team.”
