Training on Handling Pesticide Poisoning Held

DHAKA: Syngenta Bangladesh Limited, a world leading agribusiness company, organized a training program on August 26 on ‘Doctors Training on Handling Pesticide Poisoning’ with collaboration and technical support of Toxicology Society of Bangladesh (TSB) and consent of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Dr Shahadat Hossain, Civil Surgeon, Bogra was the chief guest and inaugurate the training program. 

A total 30 doctors participated in the training from different upzilas and districts level hospitals of Bogra.

AKM Morshed, Training Manager-Channel, Ferdouse Sherin, L & D Centre Manager and other Syngenta personnel were among others present. 

Technical part of Doctors Training on Handling Pesticide Poisoning was delivered by

Dr Robed Amin, Associate Professor of Medicine, Dhaka Medical College, Dr Fazle Rabbi Chowdhury, Consultant, Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College, Dr Ariful Basher, Register, Department of Tropical Medicine, Mymensingh Medical College and Dr Peter Loke, Regional Medical Adviser, Syngenta Asia Pacific. 

Mohammad Habibullah, Manager, Stewardship, Syngenta Bangladesh Limited coordinated the program.
