DHAKA: You jog every morning diligently in the hopes of losing those extra pounds but still haven't achieved any results. Wondering why? The following could be the reason, reports The Times of India.
You are eating wrong: Every time you go for a run, you get hungry and are tempted to eat a burger. Just because you run regularly, doesn't mean that you can indulge in calorie-rich food. You may be eating in excess to compensate for the calories that you have burned while running. Next time you feel hungry after a jog, eat something healthy like oats or some Greek yoghurt.
You aren't running right: If you are covering a long distance but not increasing the speed of your running, you won't burn many calories, as your body will get into a comfort zone. So increase your speed little by little, so that your body doesn't get adapted to that pace too soon.
You are consuming too many health drinks while on the run. You might be tempted to drink those special electrolyte drinks, but remember they are also high in calories. If you are running for less than an hour, drinking water is enough. Don't keep overdoing it!
