DHAKA: Health Minister Mohammed Nasim said there are sufficient amount of swine flu vaccines in the country to face the virus.
The minister came up with this assertion while speaking as chief guest in a meeting titled ‘Regional Advisory Meeting in Immigrants Health’ at a city hotel on Wednesday.
He said “We are ready to face the health calamity which can be created by the swine flu virus. In our neighboring country, India, over 1,000 people died due to the virus. So, Bangladesh also has the risk of this virus”.
“But people of the country should not be afraid about the matter as we have large amount of vaccine to prevent the disease caused by swine flu virus.”
