DHAKA: A program on diabetic retinopathy (DR) will be held at Krishibid Institute auditorium in city’s Farmgate area on Wednesday to set strategic plan in addressing the burden of DR.
The daylong event will start at 9:00am, said a press release sent by Helen Keller International-Bangladesh on Sunday.
The event includes a roundtable discussion on DR and strategic planning to address the burden of DR, Dissemination on DR screening program (NIO) and Philosophical aspect of Ophthalmic care.
Professor AHM Enayet Hussain, Line Director (Non-communicable disease control, DGHS), will present keynote at the roundtable.
Dr Jasmin Ahmad (CEITC), Dr Abul Bayan Shamsudduha (BIRDEM), Dr Md Shahidul Islam (NIOH), Dr Nazmun Nahar (IEIH), Dr Shah-Noor Hassan (BSMMU), Dr Kousik Chowdhury (NIOH) and Dr Rinku Paul (LEIH) will discuss on diabetics.
