DHAKA: The country is set to have four new medical colleges as Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, meanwhile, has approved to the proposal of establishment.
Health Minister Mohammed Nasim made the disclosure at a press briefing in Dhaka Sunday (August 26).
“The four medical colleges will be constructed in Naogaon, Netrokona, Magura and Nilphamari,” said the minister.
“Moreover, founding a new medical college in Chandpur is awaiting approval”
Some 250 students will be enrolled in the four new colleges from this very academic year of 2018-19 session, added Nasim.
