JASHORE: A woman gives birth to twins at a Jashore hospital, 26 days after she gave birth to a baby boy at Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH).

Earlier on February 25, Arifa Sultana Eti, wife of Sumon Biswas of Shymalgachhi village in Sharsha upazila, gave birth to a baby boy at KMCH. 

Then she again gave birth to twin babies (a baby boy and a baby girl) at Ad-Din Hospital in Jashore on March 22. 

Talking to Banglanews, Jashore Ad-Din Hospital gynecologist Dr Sheela Podder said this is her new experience to handle such kind of patient. She first observed such incident.

“When the patient has been admitted here with second time labor pains, we could not realize actual matter. At one stage of c-section, we realized that the patient has two ovaries. Her one ovary carried one baby and another ovary was carrying the twin”, the doctor added.
