They discussed various health topics that include male infertility, infertility current trends, reconstructive urology and importance of early intervention in hearing impairment and sports injuries and arthritis at the programme.
In his speech regarding the event, Dr. Vishal Dutt Gour said: “This discussion is going to be beneficiary for the patients who are suffering from those diseases. We are dedicated to providing high-quality health care to the patients and create awareness among them about these health issues. IVF
One of the key topics was male infertility and the current trend of having a baby through IVF. In vitro fertilization (IVF) is a technique used to help a woman get pregnant. It is when a human egg is fertilized with sperm in a laboratory.
While talking about IVF, Dr. Shivani said: “Over 12 million babies have been born through IVF from its beginning. It is the blessing of technology that everyone can have a baby now. The number of infertility clinics is increasing rapidly and technology is being updated every moment. SCI hospital has all the advanced equipments for this and we have patients from all over the world with a positive image.”
When asked about the social taboo and cost of the IVF process, the doctors said, “Many Bollywood stars, high profile peoples are having test-tube babies. It is creating a positive impact on society and SCI hospital is doing many activities to promote IVF. The key is education if we can give proper education then it will no longer be a taboo. And it is affordable for all classes of people.”
