JATIYA SANGSAD BHABAN: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina told the national parliament on Wednesday (September 11) that the dengue infection diagnostic kits now are being produced in Bangladesh.
"35,000 dengue diagnostic kits will be supplied everyday. There will be no shortage of it," she said.
The premier made the disclosure while replying a query of Jatiya Party lawmaker Rustom Ali Farazi during the Q&A segment of parliament session, with Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair Wednesday (September 11).
Sheikh Hasina said total 3,68,200 dengue diagnostic kits including 1,57,000 SS1 comb kits were imported till August 3.
But, the kits production has been started here after importing the raw materials on August 6, added the prime minister.
