DHAKA: Fifteen more people have died of coronavirus in Bangladesh, raising the total death toll in the country to 75, said Health Minister Zahid Maleque on Friday (April 17).

Besides, 266 more people have been tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours, pushing the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 1,838.

Health Minister Zahid Maleque informed the latest coronavirus situation in the country from an online health bulletin broadcast.

Besides, nine of coronavirus patients have recovered in last 24 hours, raising the number of total recovery to 58, said IEDCR Director Dr Meerjady Sabrina Flora in the online briefing.
