The coronavirus (COVID-19) death toll has reached 6,83,278 as 1,77,71,634 people have been infected worldwide till 1:30pm on Saturday (August 1, Bangladesh Time). 

A total of 1,11,68,411 people have recovered worldwide from the disease, according to latest data from worldometer.

A total of 213 countries and territories and two international conveyances have been infected in the deadly disease.

In USA, 47,06,059 people have been infected with the disease. Of them, 1,56,752 people have died and 23,27,791 people have recovered. Active cases are 22,21,516.

In Brazil, 26,66,298 people have been infected with coronavirus. Of them, 92,568 patients have died and 18,84,051 recovered.

In Mexico, 4,24,637 people have been affected with coronavirus. Of them, 46,688 died and 2,78,618 recovered from the disease.

In UK, 3,03,181 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 46,119 patients have died.

In India, 17,01,307 people have been affected with coronavirus. Of them, 36,583 people have died and 10,96,893 people have recovered from the disease.

In Italy, 2,47,537 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 35,141 people have died and 1,99,974 people have recovered. 

In France, 1,87,919 people have been infected with the disease. Of them, 30,265 patients have died and 81,500 patients have recovered.

In Spain, 3,35,602 patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 28,445 have died in the country. 

In Peru, 4,14,735 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 19,217 have died and 2,87,127 have recovered.

In Iran, 3,04,204 people have been infected with coronavirus. Of them, 16,766 patients have died and 2,63,519 patients have recovered. 

In Russia, 8,39,981 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 13,963 have died and 6,38,410 have recovered.

In Belgium, 68,751 people have been affected with coronavirus. Of them, 9,841 people have died and 17,546 people have recovered from the disease.

In Colombia, 2,95,508 people have been affected with coronavirus. Of them, 10,105 people have died and 1,54,387 people have recovered from the disease.

In Chile, 3,55,667 people have been affected with coronavirus. Of them, 9,457 people have died and 3,28,327 people have recovered from the disease.

In Germany, 2,10,665 people have been affected with Covid-19 disease. Of them, 9,224 patients have died and 1,93,600 people have recovered.

In Canada, 1,16,312 people have been infected from the disease. Of them, 8,935 people have died and 1,01,227 have recovered.

In China, 84,292 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 4,634 people have died and 78,974 have recovered. Active cases are 684.

In Bangladesh, 2,34,889 people have been infected with coronavirus. Of them, 3,083 people died and 1,32,960 patients have recovered.

The World Health Organization declared the coronavirus crisis a pandemic on March 11.
