Healthy Glow
American actress Drew Barrymore never fails to look radiant on the red carpet, and her luminous complexion at the Baby2Baby Gala in California can be credited to equal parts careful blending and the coveted pregnancy glow.
‘I like to keep Drew’s skin as fresh and natural as possible, so I applied foundation by FLOWER only in certain areas,’ said her makeup artist Debra Ferullo, reports InStyle.
Because some foundation formulas can be on the heavier side, follow Barrymore’s lead when you want an airbrushed finish that allows your natural skin to show through.
Make sure to cover your T-Zone, chin, and your under-eye area, as well as any places that tend to get red, like the corners of your nose.
Use a makeup brush or sponge to blend it out, and concentrate on blurring the edges so there isn’t a noticeable divide between your makeup and your natural skin.
To finish the effect, Ferullo picked up a pink cream blush to give off a natural flush.
‘I prefer to apply cream blushes with my fingers,’ she advised. ‘I start on the apple of the cheek and blend outward’.
