How to Stick to your Weight Loss Goals

Do it the App Way: You’ve got a smartphone with the best of utilities apps and games; so why not use it to stick to your New Year resolutions too? Turns out, developers have now put down some really cool apps to help you do just that, and more. Check these out, you’ll find them available for almost all android or apple devices.

Grab the OJ: Okay, this one’s for all those who prefer a cup of tea in the wee hours of the morning before setting out for work. Orange juice is a good and simple way to stick to your New Year weight loss resolutions; how? You may ask. Well, orange juice is a good source of natural sugars, and packs in an impressive amount of fibre too, both of which help keep you satiated. Therefore, you are less likely to indulge in foods you wouldn’t want to! Skip your cup of coffee/tea, and get a glass of orange juice instead to go with your breakfast.

Trigger Food Alert: Every one of us has that inside temptation for a particular food, that irresistible urge that makes you go weak in the knees; and undoubtedly, it’s more likely to be an unhealthy food. This year, instead of shunning it away completely, exercise caution, and allow yourself to get a bite or two of your trigger food, which usually gets you off your weight loss plan. The idea here is to keep you satisfied and yet, still going on with your weight loss efforts.

One at a Time: Okay, so last year was a big mess. You partied hard, gorged on anything you could get your hands on, and (let’s face it), piled up a few pounds as well. So now, instead of just overloading yourself with hours of exercise routine and the worst of weight loss diets (think starvation), take it slow. Allot a good 20 minutes to half an hour of time for your daily exercise, and keep yourself away from high fat, high sugar foods, add more of fat-burning foods to your diet, and you’re good to go.
