Here are 16 tips to help you keep the nails healthy;
1- Keep it dry
Humidity is the main cause in damaging the nails. Moisture is the perfect ground for fungi growth. Keep the nails dry and wear protective gloves to do the dishes. Stay away from long soak in the water, especially in public places.
2- Keep the nails clean
Wash hands as often as possible to remove the bacteria grow under the nails.
3- Keep the nails trimmed
Trim the nail does not mean to clip from the end but to preserve it. Remove the dead skins and use the nail file to smooth the edges. Cut the extra skins around the end with nail manicure scissors. Trim the nails right after bath.
4- Do not abuse your finger nails
Do not use the nails to scratch, pick, or poke on things. Do not use the nails as tools to do any harsh work. To carry out any task that causes damage to the nail, put on protective glove and use proper tools.
5- Do not bite
Stop biting the nails! bacteria under the nail causes disease and illness.
6- Protect the nail from wintry weather
Use gloves in winter. Cold whether is a big enemy of a healthy nail.
7- Avoid harsh and hazardous chemicals
Nails are very sensitive to chemicals and harsh solutions. When doing the dishes, protect the skin and nails by putting protective gloves.
8- Apply sunscreen
Nails are sensitive under direct sun light. Apply suncream and sunblock to protect the nail.
9- Use proper vitamins
