Due to the high levels of humidity, fungus and bacteria grow on the skin, causing redness and itching.
Feet turn smelly on account of the constant moisture and there is a common complaint of fungal infection between the toes. Thus, it becomes vital to do a pedicure least every three weeks.
Rose petal foot soak
Ingredients Rose petals, rose flavoured salts, a scrub, rose geranium essential oil, a peel and rose cream.
Method Prepare a footbath with the petals, adding four tablespoons of rose salts to the water. Add three drops of the rose oil to this. Soak the feet in this mix for upto five minutes.
