If you are apprehensive about tying the knot right before your wedding date, here's what to keep in mind
Getting a cold feet right before your wedding date isn't surprising at all, but if you are planning to cancel it just because you aren't sure whether you wish to get married or not is foolish. Here are a few things why one develops cold feet before their marriage and here's how to resolve it.
Understand that you are under pressure
One of the first and foremost reasons as to why one gets a cold feet right before the wedding day is because he/she has probably been under a lot of pressure planning the big day. You are in the midst of planning your pre-wedding activities, organising your wedding trousseau and taking care of the guests. Once you come to terms with this, rest is easy.
Remember all the special moments
If you are planning to call off the wedding because you are feeling the jitters, recall all the good times you have spent with your partner and remember that there are more in store for the two of you once you tie the knot. The two of you will be spending the rest of your lives together and nothing can be more special and exhilarating than this one.
Talk to a family member, friend or your would-be spouse
When you go through such tense moments, it is always advised to speak to a person who is the closest to you. This will help you in realising things practically and would stop you from taking a decision that you might end up regretting later.
Do something that relaxes you
At such a time, it is always best to go in for something that will give you a peace of mind and help you deal with the wedding stress better. It can be anything from going in for a spa treatment or a facial or a manicure/pedicure. In fact, if you still have a couple of days left for the big day to arrive, move out of the city with your gang of pals to spend a relaxing time.
