DHAKA: This week’s beauty tip is on ‘Sabrina Carpenter’s Beach-y Waves’. Take your makeup box and try…
Sabrina Carpenter’s Beach-y Waves
Who: Sabrina Carpenter
The Expert: Celebrity hairstylist Brian Magallones
The Look: Loose, beach-y waves
The Tip:
1. Start by running a lightweight moisturizer through your hair. Rough dry strands with your hands.
2. Once the hair is dry, use a 1 1/2-inch barrel curling iron to create a soft, natural wave. Starting at the nape of your neck and working up, take one inch sections and wind them around the barrel of the curling iron, taking each section in alternating directions.
Be sure to keep the ends straight for a modern look. Spray each section with a volumizing hairspray, like Aveda Volumizing Tonic.
3. After you curl your whole head, brush it through to relax the wave. Make a middle part, and spritz hairspray to hold it all in place.
4. Finish with a gloss that eliminates flyaways, like Aveda Brilliant Spray-on Shine.
