If you live in a metropolis like Mumbai, it is almost impossible that you don't get tanned. While some people are lucky enough not to get tanned quickly, there are others for whom even 20 minutes in the sun is enough to get tanned. Here are some simple tips that will help you remove the tan...
- You need to exfoliate to get rid of the dead skin cells. Tanning changes the colour of the topmost layer of your skin. And while this layer peels off on its own every few weeks, exfoliating will expedite the process.
- You can either use exfoliating products available in beauty stores or make your own paste at home. Take some salt and mix it with lemon juice and apply it on your body. Use a loofah and scrub your body well.
- Gram flour is also an effective way to remove your tan. Scrub it every couple of days on your body and wash it off with warm water.
- After exfoliation, don't forget to generously slather moisturising lotion all over.

- Make a tan removal face pack using gram flour and turmeric. Mix two tablespoons of the gram flour with a little turmeric. Add a tablespoon of milk and everything. Add a few drops of rose water. Apply this mixture on your face and let it dry naturally. After about 25 minutes, wash it off with lukewarm water.
