Designer Manish Malhotra answers fashion queries...
Dusky style
I am 18-years-old and my weight is 42 kg. I want to wear cute yet stylish clothes. Please suggest a few options apart from the regular jeans and t-shirts. My complexion is dusky, please advice what colours would look best on me.
Sheetal Namdas
You should try layering, which is very in this season internationally. You could style a simple t-shirt or a sleeveless t-shirt with a shrug. Would suggest you to wear colours like black or white, or you could go for primary shades like emerald green, violets and purples.
Smart changes
I am 5'5'' in height and weigh 70 kg. I am a little heavier on the bottom. Can you suggest some outfits that will make me look smart
Imran
You should wear clean cut shirts with detailing on the chest or on the sleeve, along with light coloured or white comfortable straight pants. Always try to layer your shirts or t-shirts with either a shirt or a blazer or a simple jacket.
Skirt it
I am 16 and my height is 5'9''. My complexion is wheatish. Please suggest the palette of colours that will suit me and also tell me what type of clothes should I go in for.
Shreyas Kharat
You have a good height. And your clothes can be made to emphasise your height. I suggest, you go for dark coloured high-waist paints with white, ivory, or beige slim shirts. You could also try simple tunics with small hints of colour paired with jeggings or skinny jeans.
Cocktail party
I am 16 years old and I have just got my SSC result and now preparing for college my height is 5'8'' my skin tone is not too fair. I wanted to know which type of clothes are good for my personality because I am a bit thin and also which type of hair style should I opt for.
Aryan Gandhi
Since you are a bit thin, you could try layering your clothes. This will add a dash of multiple looks for you, too. Try, wearing a shirt over a t-shirt, a jacket with a t-shirt. You should wear straight pants or straight jeans. You are young, go for a cool, vibrant and funky look for your hair.
