While there are ways to avoid looking unprofessional, certain basic tips can make you look like you are the most ideal employee.
- Always make sure that you reach on time. An employee with shaky timetable is considered less reliable.
- People who keep bragging about themselves and their achievements are a big `no-no' at workplaces. It's great that you've done well, but that doesn't mean you blow your own trumpet.
- Dirty tables, files on computers you cannot locate, checking mails less frequently. Does that sound like you If yes, then you are disorganized, a trait most hated by employers. This indirectly shows the way you are as a person and that you can falter if you are assigned tasks in the future.
- Saying accurately what you want to counts a lot. And it works well for not only your employers but also you. Those with unclear and fazed words are quickly forgotten and are considered as being unsure of what they want.
- If you cannot come to office for whatever reasons, it is perfectly alright. But that does not mean you lie. Liars are loathed and how! It shows up in your relationship with your employers and might not be healthy in the long run
