How can you let go of that soft, gooey piece of joy when so many options of making it without eggs are available. And who says, eggs are a must for making good cakes Bananas, yogurt and even cola can make them as fluffy as eggs do.
-You can replace eggs by adding any aerated drink to the cake mix. The tip is to add it gradually to the mixture.
-Adding mashed banana also gives your cake the required consistency. But do not forget to add half a tea-spoon of fruit salt to to the cake-mix.
-You can also replace eggs by adding 2-3 tsp of beaten curd and 12 tsp of soda bi-carb.
Eggless Vanilla Cake Recipe
Ingredients 2 cups flour, one cup powdered sugar, 1 tsp vanilla essence, 1 cup melted butter, 150ml sodacoke, 1 tsp baking powder, 12 can condensed milk
Procedure -Mix the baking powder in flour and sieve.
-Now in a vessel add sugar and butter and beat till it becomes white and fluffy.
-Add vanilla essence and mix well. -Fold in the condensed milk and whisk.
-Now gradually add the flour, ensuring that no lumps are formed.
-Slowly pour the aerated drink and mix till the cake mix is of a pouring consistency. -Now bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes of till done. -You can also microwave it on high for 4-5 minutes. -You can decorate it by beating together heavy cream and icing sugar or with fruits and cherries.
Super-easy Oreo Cake
Ingredients 10-12 Oreo biscuits, 12 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp powdered sugar, 5 tsp chopped nuts
Procedure
-In a blender crush the Oreo biscuits to a fine powder.
-Now add milk, sugar, baking powder and blend well.
-Adjust the quantity of milk in a way it is of pouring consistency.
-Now line a microwave safe bowl with cling film and pour the mixture on it.
-Microwave on high for 4-5 minutes or till a knife inserted in the middle of the cake, comes out clean.
-Take it out of the dish carefully, place on a platter and pour chocolate ganache or whipped cream!
- Pure indulgence it is!
