Give your regular tea a punch of fruits

Sipping on that perfect tea after a long working day can be the best way to unwind. Whether it is about fixing up a bad day or just enjoying conversations over a cup of tea, if there’s one thing that can instantly rejuvenate your senses with a boost of energy, then it has to be that warm cup of tea, but what if we tell you that now you can accentuate the taste of your regular tea and give it a fruity punch!

We have curated a few super healthy and nutrient-rich fruit teas, which you can make at home anytime without putting in much efforts. So, follow us through some easy tea infusions and enjoy your evenings.

Apple cinnamon tea

To make this delicious tea, wash and chop one apple and keep it aside. In the meantime, take a vessel over medium flame and add in 2 cups of water. Then add in 3 tulsi leaves (basil leaves), then add in the chopped apples along with a 1 inch whole cinnamon. Brew this tea for sometime and once the flavour and pulp of apple is dissolved in the tea. Turn off the flame and strain the tea and then add in ½ a teaspoon of honey. The presence of minerals, vitamin C, K, B1 and antioxidants will give your body the right boost of immunity and the use of cinnamon and potassium in apple helps in thinning of the blood which helps in improving the blood pressure levels and prevents clogging up of arteries.

Another common way of making this tea is by chopping fresh apples and sun drying them. Store these dried apple chunks and you can brew them with your regular green tea and indulge in the goodness.

Mixed fruit tea

Another refreshing blend you can prepare anytime without putting in much effort is by washing and chopping your favourite fruits like pineapples, berries, and green apples. After chopping, mash the fruits using a masher and pour them into the cups. In the meantime, heat a vessel with water and brew 2 bags of chamomile tea and ½ and inch of fresh ginger. Once done pour this tea using a strainer into the cups and top it with a sugar cube or ½ teaspoon honey and enjoy this hearty fruity blend anytime.

Plum-nutmeg tea

Winter season is around the corner and it’s time to swing into the festive vibes with this exotic tea recipe. You can either go for fresh plum which does have a tarty taste or you can deseed, chop them into fine bits or strips and sun dry them. Then mix these plum strips with your regular leafy tea along with herbs like holy basil and dried rose petal. You can also chop 4-5 fresh plum or extract their juice. Then take a vessel with 2 cups of water, add in the chopped plum into the lukewarm water along with a dash of nutmeg and 2-teaspoon of sugar, stir nicely and strain it into the cups and add in ½ teaspoon honey.

Orange Black Tea

Oranges are packed with the goodness of vitamin C, which helps in boosting immunity, but the best part about this tea is that it revives your senses with this fresh aromatic tea. Made with the goodness of dried orange zest brewed with black tea, brown sugar and some mint leaves.

You can also prepare black tea and pour it in the cups half filled with chopped orange chunks. Stir the tea nicely and add in some honey maple syrup and garnish with mint leaves and enjoy.
