Dhaka: Opposition BNP Monday accused the government of creating anarchy before the upcoming by-election in Bhola-3 constituency by using the local administration and terrorist gangs.
BNP standing committee member Dr. Khondokar Mosharraf Hossain made alleging at a press conference held at party's central office about the overall situation of the Bhola-3 by-polls.
Warning the government of dire consequences, he said BNP would launch a movement to oust the government if the victory is snatched through rigging and terrorism.
The BNP senior leader told reporters in reply to a question on candidates' security that the government should not only ensure the security of them but also of the voters' so that they can go to the polling centres safely.
BNP senior joint secretary general Mirja Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi were present at the press conference.
