Trial of war criminals will go on

DHAKA: The Bangladesh Awami League, in its manifesto of upcoming 10th general election, is going to give importance on the continuation of the trial of war criminals.

Party sources said that Awami League president Sheikh Hasina will declare the election manifesto at Bangabandhu International Conference Center at 3:00pm Saturday.

The criminals those who were involved in Killing, violence, road cutting, attacking on minority, destroying prayer hall, setting fire to public property, looting valuables in the name of movement, they would be brought to book.

Besides, the manifesto would come up with the declaration that necessary steps would be taken for the rehabilitation of victims of anarchy conducted by 18-party allegiance.

Party sources also said that the manifesto will highlight on freedom and dignity of the judiciary.
