DHAKA: Joint forces, in it’s drive for fourth straight day, nabbed 100 men from different areas of the capital between Saturday evening to midnight.
Wishing anonymity a detective branch officer told banglanews that they have received information that miscreants might conduct subversive acts centering opposition party’s “March for Democracy”. To avert this sabotage, joint forces raided Badda, Ramna, Segunbagicha, Nayatola, Rampura and Kolabagan areas.
Law enforcers also railed residences of several city BNP leaders including it standing committee member Mirza Abbas.
In this drive, joint forces detained 44 men from Kolabagan area, he added.
Earlier, joint forces nabbed 150 men from Mirpur, 162 from Tejgaon, 25 from Jatrabari areas.
