DHAKA: Law enforcers have still kept condoned-off the BNP’s Nayapaltan central office in the beginning of New Year.
Police also have kept cordoning off BNP Chairperson’s Gulshan residence and her political office.
Besides, after ending ‘March for Democracy’ program, restriction on plying vehicles have been relaxed in Nayapalton of the capital but BNP office still now cordoned-off.
The main gate of the office remained locked and law enforcers were seen staying there in alert position. Any leaders and activists of BNP were not seen in the area.
Paltan Thana Sub-Inspector Jahangir Alam said to banglanews that law enforcers were kept on alert position to ensure safety of BNP office.
To avoid any untoward situation in the area, police have been ordered to remain alert, he added.
