DHAKA: US ambassador to Dhaka Dan W Mozena held a meeting with BNP vice-chairman Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury on Wednesday morning.

Sources said that the US ambassador went to the residence of Shamsher Mubin Chawdhury in capital’s Banani area at around 11:30am.

They talked on different issues in the one and half an hour-long meeting.

But, after the meeting, Shamsher Mobin told banglanews, “It was a courtesy call.”

Earlier on Tuesday, the US envoy had a meeting with BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia.
