Joy sought vote for boat

PIRGANJ (RANGPUR): Sajeeb Wazed Joy, son of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Thursday afternoon urged the people of Rangpur to cast their votes for the electoral symbol of Awami League ‘Boat’ for country’s continuous betterment.

While addressing a public meeting in Pirganj as part of the election campaign, he urged the voters to show appreciation for all the hard works of Awami League.

He also claimed in these days, economically the countrymen are in a better position than five years ago. The income of the people became doubled in the last five years.

Highlighting technological developments of the country Joy also said: “The government is working to digitalize the country. Moreover the people are getting many facilities by the grace of technology.”

Pointing the main opposition BNP’s move to foil the polls, he said, “Our Opposition has raised this scope by boycotting the election. Their entire goal was to make this election controversial to create the opportunity for a third force or War Criminals.”

He also urged the countrymen to outwit BNP in this regard by casting vote for his mother Sheikh Hasina.

He also focused on recent developments of the country and promised to ensure electricity and medication services even in remote areas of the country.
