Rowshan to be opposition leader!

DHAKA: According to unofficial result of the Sunday’s 10th national election, Bangladesh Awami League secured top position winning 232 constituencies while Jatiya Party holds second position winning 33 constituencies out of result declared in 292 ones.

Out of the result, Jatiya Party will be the main opposition in the 10th parliament.  As per the rule, its chairman HM Ershad is to be opposition leader of the parliament but the former military ruler, in a reaction after voting ends, expressed his unwillingness for the position.

So, Rowshan Ershad, senior presidium member of the Jatiya Party, is going to be opposition leader of the new parliament.

Intimate sources of HM Ershad, who was undergoing treatment at Combined Military Hospital, confirmed the matter to banglanews.
