BOGRA: District Jamaat-e-Islami has called dawn-to-dusk hartal for Thursday protesting the arrest of district unit Ameer Principal Shahbuddin and many other party activists.

District Nayeb-e-Ameer Moulana Alamgir Hussain declared the hartal on Wednesday noon.

Earlier in the day, law enforcers nabbed 77 people, including district Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Principal Shahbuddin, for their alleged involvement with vandalizing, arson and various sabotage in the district.
